Negatives:
During my stay I woke up and my back and legs were covered in itchy bites. I had a suspicion of bed bugs. The handling of this incident by the staff was very disappointing. I was not offered any compensation. I was also not sent a report from the pest controller even though they had promised me this. The staff were very unprofessional and you didn't feel taken seriously as a guest.

Unfortunately, there was an incident during the stay, which was very unfortunate. I woke up with my back and legs covered in stitches. It was very itchy and painful. I suspected that it could be bedbugs. I contacted the Guest Experience team but unfortunately my complaint was not taken seriously. They said they couldn't call an exterminator for a few days as it was the weekend. Although my clothes were treated in a heat chamber, no other help was offered. There was no financial compensation and I was not offered an overnight stay. I bought creams for the itching, which were not reimbursed. They promised to send me a report with the results of the examination by email, but I still haven't received it. I am not satisfied with the handling of this incident. This hotel should therefore be avoided.

Location and room size were perfect for the short need. Easy check in, and check out. Appreciated that it had a microwave and fridge. Most hotels do not have both. Also gave free bottled water. Would stay again if needed.

The Reception was very clean and tidy with friendly staff to welcome you upon arrival.
Negatives:
Beware of the $50 room deposit that you don’t get refunded even after 7 weeks post staying at the hotel. I’ve emailed countless times and got the same response “apologies for the inconvenience”… and that I’ll be contacted which is yet to happen!
The rooms are absolutely tiny, luckily I was only stay for a stop over arriving late and leaving early so not much time spent in the room! For the cost it’s not worth it!

Positives:
It's an excellent location, close to everything downtown. Close to the airport bus stop to IAH. Good facilities, free coffee downstairs, front desk operates 24/7. It was a quiet location.

The staff were OK and competent, only one of the front desk staff was friendly and happy to answer any questions.
