The staff was super friendly. The front desk guys that checked me i think he had Lee in his name was outstanding in his customer service and literally tried to do everything in his power to accommodate.
Negatives:
They way the airport location nickel and dime cost. I have stayed at other Garden inn. Parking $13 a night to park. If u purchase a breakfast included room, 2 vouchers for 2 nights that sleep 3 and its limited to two options. Old Towels

Just what we needed for our trip.
Positives:
Room was very good. Cooked breakfast was good. location in lobby was ok, but somewhat strange to be mixed with people coming and going. Shuttle service was excellent.
Negatives:
Room: Awakened first morning at 6am for alarm I didn't set. Thought I had it turned off but it sounded again at 7:30. Tried to delete the alarm settings with no luck. Tried to unplug the alarm but could not do so. Light in bathroom didn't work. Reported to the front desk and all was repaired. No problems second night/morning. Kitchen: First day I had to ask the 'waiter' how it all worked because no body seemed interested in explaining it. Second day, waiter was clueless, no utensils and retrieved a fork and knife wrapped in paper napkin, no spoon for oatmeal. Hot meal cook not in sight. Front desk provided the meal vouchers I prepaid for but forgot to give me on checkin.

The room was very spacious and the bathroom was a dream with all the separate shower heads.
Negatives:
For dinner on arrival night, I ordered a salad with chicken and the chicken tenders were cooked extremely hard; informed the waitress and she brought out another plate of newly friend chicken tenders for my salad and they were cooked just as hard; not very happy with paying almost $18 for a salad that only the good portion was the greens and vegetables; that was the only disappointing thing about the whole Hilton Garden Inn experience.

Im an elderly woman who, while traveling alone, was stranded in Houston due to flight delays at Dallas causing me to miss my connection. I was able to book a room at a reasonable rate at the last minute. The free transportation pickup at the airport and the return at 4:00 the next morning were (both times) a life saver. All employees were friendly and I felt safe. Thank you for such an excellent facility that met all my needs.
