I was quite sick, so I stayed in my room. The room service was great though.
Negatives:
The reception DID NOT give me a wake up call as requested, and I missed my international flight. I had to go to Taiwan the next day, so, one day less holiday.
For my sense of style, this was a little "too much" as in overdone.

The pool area is nice but it's small. There were no chairs left around the pool while we were there and the chairs, we could find were not comfortable.

Clean top notch hotel which cost accordingly. Restaurant great, but limited desserts. Best Dark chocolate martini I have ever had.

We have stayed here many many times. We love the location, bar, and vibe of the hotel.
Negatives:
It's getting really run down, and the price no longer reflects the quality of the hotel. Our room had stains all over the ceiling. No shower head. The coaster was nasty and well used that our "clean" cups were sitting on. It was so grimy feeling. It's way too expensive to feel gross. They need to put some money in it, or it's got the same fate the Derek.
