Positives:
location was good close to motorway, not far from downtown, and also close to several large shopping centres/malls. Kroger supermarket and chemist next door (a bit unreliable - seemed to have power issues regularly) very handy, and some nice restaurants nearby. Rooms were a good size with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and full size kitchen. Good on site parking.
Negatives:
Swimming pool was closed the whole visit (in the middle of summer - weird) The hotel seems to be have turned into accommodation for regular tenants rather than hotel guests. The room was very dark (terrible lighting) The air conditioning was a nightmare - so noisy we had to drag the mattress out and sleep on the floor in the lounge and wear air plugs to get some sleep. Asked to be moved but got a frosty response. The breakfast was very basic and overall we were quite disappointed.

Breakfast gets a 1 rating . By 8:15am one day food ran out. No more eggs. Display and restaurant area was dirty. Carpet in hallways were dirty. Need vacuuming. Did not have a feeling of safety at this property. Gate was always open so people easily could enter hotel area. Fridge door was rusty. Large sticky stain in living room of 335. Room was very humid. Windows were dirty.

The sofa bed was nasty and we couldn't use it. It really needs to be replaced and the building smells like mold and dogs. The elevator sounds like it needs maintenance so we were afraid and had to take the stairs.

Location proximity to my event,courtesy quite friendly staff,size of the room/living room and utilities provided plus healthy breakfast served daily.

The hallway carpets looked dirty,elevation is stuffy(needs overhead fan), and entrance door/hallway when you step im smells like cigarettes/other nose-irritating smoke.Evident that the smoker did not step out clear from the building.
At arrival the 1st room assigned to us the air conditioning system was broken.we had to request for a switch to another room.This is not acceptable because if we did not check before stepping out for the meeting, we would have returned late night to find out we have to sleep in a hot room.

I liked how it's near many restaurants, down the road from Kamp Houston, prospect park, and other major establishments along with a Kroger in front of hotel.
Negatives:
I did not like how the photos are deceiving and on the website it looks new, but in person it's a run down in process of being renovating hotel. They should tell people and update photos because for it to be a 3.8 star almost 4 is not rationale
