Positives:
Location was great for our needs. Check-in guy was very understanding and accommodating with early check-in. Place very clean and met our needs
Negatives:
Communication between staff/shifts could have been better. For example, we were booked for two nights. When it became obvious we were going to arrive early - about 0900 on the first day - I called to make a booking for the night before and left a specific message to a) make sure it was noted that we were not arriving until the next day at 0900 and b) we get the same room for all booked nights. I called to double check this the night before we were to arrive (the new first night) and was informed by a different staff member that it was ok but that there were two bookings for this new first night, so she cancelled one of them. When we arrived at 0900 as planned, a third staff member could find no record of this and had no clue as to what I was talking about. However, he was understanding, considerate, said there was a room available, and we could check in early anyway. We ended up lucking out as we only paid for the original two nights rather the expected three, but, if we could not have checked in early, we would have to spend hours hanging around till 3. All boils down to communication.

Positives:
When we arrived. Front desk was really nice, they even sent up fresh baked cookies for my birthday due to me talking about why we were in Houston besides dropping my daughter off to school.
Negatives:
I didn't like the fact that my daughter got stuck in an elevator for almost 30 min or longer, fore depts were called amd everything and there was no sign stating it was broken, even though other gueststated they reported it.. I was told that the Mgr would reach out and that never happened and when I reached out, I was told by her, ahe would call me back amd to this day, I still haven't spoken to her. Horrible customer service, no one even tried to accommodate us after the situation. Just poor service.

We were unable to stay at the hotel for the majority of our trip then was lied to about the power being on and it wasn’t and I had my daughter with me burning up. No water to shower or wash our hands as well.

Positives:
The breakfast was the best we’ve ever had from other nice hotels…(fresh fruit, hot breakfast, all the other things that other hotels have… etc.)
Negatives:
We had to flip a breaker in our room for it to work and the coffee pot was broke… but they made everything good with a smile!
