This has nothing to do with the property, but a category one hurricane hit Houston while we were slated to stay at the hotel, so we weren’t able to check in. The hotel was without power when we arrived on Monday around 3 PM, and we were told that we would not be charged for the one night stay due to them not being able to check us in since they had no power. Unfortunately, we had to drive all the way back to my family home in Beaumont, Texas, which is approximately an hour and a half away from the hotel.

In the first room, my air condition didn’t work so I had to get another room and basically downgrade the room because I have the master suite and I never got notification about a new room so I know I didn’t get my money and towels were washed for a day and a half I went one night without taking a shower because when I asked for towels, they said they didn’t have any available. this was the only time I’ve had this experience. I just most definitely was a little uncomfortable this time.
