Hyatt Place Fort Worth/Hurst

Negatives: Had to move rooms because the TV and phone did not work in the first room. 2nd room had mold on the ceiling. Breakfast was horrible, they only had super chewy turkey bacon and eggo waffles. They didn't even have creamer for their coffee! Blamed it on supplier issues but there was literally nothing there! Front desk didn't even try to get us to stay when we asked to cancel our next 2 nights.

Negatives: There was an odd smell on the hallway (6th floor) and in the room. Breakfast is not great but you get something to start the day with. The toilet and sink could have been cleaned up better before us. No handsoap in the room. I had a question and waited on the front desk 5-10 min but no-one came.

Negatives: The free breakfast was so meager for the first 3 days, there was almost nothing I could eat. The same sorry bowl of sugary yogurt, uncovered, was out for days. I asked if they were planning on having fresh fruit, and told no. Processed, sugared garbage was all that was available; not even an apple. Just before my 5 days were up, someone bought a big box store bag of sugared frozen sliced fruit, and dumped them in a bowl half thawed. There was no onsite restaurant serving food as the description indicated. Traveling solo, I chose this place for its amenities. Again, the room and staff were great. My expectations based on the site description were not even remotely met.

Negatives: The place looks dated and mildly worn down. The worst part was breakfast. It started at 7. We went down at 7:20 and there was cold egg, cold sausage, milk and no cereal, bananas, gravy with nothing to put it on, and bagels. People waited for food. We had to leave by 8 and there apparently was no change in that hour. This was the biggest disappointment because we frequent Hyatt.

Negatives: EVERYTHING. Wrong room. Should’ve been a king per my booking they gave me what seemed to be a two full room and then the reason I went was for the pull and the restaurant they said was inside and the pool was closed and they no longer have the restaurant. Then the morning of checkout, which we had a late checkout at 2 pm, about 8 am the made just opens the door without knocking and I used a language app to ensure she wasn’t following instructions or was from the hotel to call them out on her another miscarriage of an experience I paid for, she fesses up and said she lied, they didn’t tell her to come into the room and was crying about it. I plan on making a corporate complaint, but wanted to wait until I got my refund so I could just be done with it all. Now, I stayed 8-17 to 8-18 and was advised my refund would take 7-10 business days. The hotel sent me to my bank, my bank sent me to the hotel, the hotel then sends me to booking.com then booking.com send me to the hotel and tonight the hotel clerk gets upset because I don’t wanna tell her why I got the refund and places me on a rude hold and comes back and asked me if I held on just to cuss her out… When I asked for her name she hangs up and I recorded the entire session. I’m getting ready to call her again and see what she says now. This was the most disrespectful, most unprofessional and disgusting experience I’ve ever had and all I wanted was just and inner city one night get away with my new friend. Oh… Let’s not leave out to tidbits of discrimination on the way… geezzeee Just Wow! Can I get out of this twilight zone of confusion and chaos… REFUND ME MY MONEY THAT IS PENDING IN MY ACCOUNT!!! That’s it!

Negatives: Hallways smelled, room wasn’t clean enough, breakfast was burnt sausage and cheerios our first morning. The second morning wasn’t much better, so we had to go out. Will not stay at a Hyatt Place again. From now on it’s Hampton or Holiday Inn.
