La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Pasadena

Negatives: 1. Entry light was burned out, had to enter room in darkness and search for lamp. Called desk and was told maintenance man had left. It was 4:30pm. 2. Wi-Fi did not work at all. Had to use personal hot spot, which limited activity. 3.had to be at hospital by 5:30 am. Tried to get receipt before we left, but computer wouldn’t com up…probably slow wi-fi. It would have been nice to have fruit or muffins on counter. 4.The TV remote only changed up and down. To change channels, had to go through all the channels.

Negatives: Our stay was disappointing. We have stayed here before and were very pleased at the service and the property’s appearance. This time we were not pleased. The receptionist was on her cell phone with someone yelling “I have a customer”. She never stood up to greet us either. The lack of care for the maintenance is evident upon arrival. The lobby seating area looks like something found on the side of the road. The elevator and surrounding walls were dirty and carpet padding showing. Upon entering the room we discovered the floor under the ac unit was wet. We did call the front desk and we were told the unit leaks and we could be upgraded to a king suite. We opted for staying in the room if it didn’t get worse. (It did not). The bathroom; the tub has stains from lack of picking up the rubber mat and cleaning and the door hinges are completely rusted. While taking a shower a towel had to be placed against the tub due to leaking. The bed frames are patched with duct tape. Granted the sheets were cleaned though places on the bed wrong. Needless to say we were just disappointed in the lack of care that LaQuinta has for this property. Next time, we pay more and stay across the street at Holiday Inn in hopes for a nicer stay.

Negatives: It is a very old and dirty hotel, it smells of humidity, the doors are rusty, the breakfast is terrible, I always stay at La Quinta hotels because they are pet-friendly places and I had done very well but this time I am deeply disappointed, that hotel urgently needs a remodeling and apart from that the daytime staff is very inattentive, it seems like they do not care about anything, they are not friendly.

Negatives: It didn’t look clean and it looks like it needs to be updated.

Negatives: When we first arrived, this hotel was under construction . Secondly , the lady at the front desk was a bit rude. The room that was first assigned to us had plumbing issues. Also, lights weren’t working. I asked for a better room which at that point were given another room.

Negatives: The hotel has no air other than in the rooms or main lobby, we were in the third floor and hallway was hot! It smells so bad too, like musty!! Location is bad you have to get on tollway for everything!

Negatives: I stayed there before and was nice I don't know what happen to the place but the breakfast wasn't like it used to be. The lobby furniture it was dirty and deteriorating and to topped it off housekeeping open my door way before check out time with out knocking first. I Don't think I'll be staying there again very disappointed with the facilities.

Negatives: There were two light switches in the room that didn’t work, but it was no big deal.

Negatives: They did not clean anything. Our room was filthy, the crib they gave us was filthy, and everything smelled musty.

Negatives: The room had a lot of mold and the door had rust.

Negatives: The room was hot and humid. Even with the ac turned to 68° the room would not cool off. The curtains were stained and needed to be replaced.
