Room had a bad smell, carpet was extremely dirty, hair in sink when we arrived, mold in AC/heating unit vents, mold around tub, tub was slimy & dirty. Hard to see entry drive, especially at night, looks like an alley.

Price and availability, check in was also pretty easy at least for me I had no issues.

Well one thing was I requested a 6:00am wake up call and got one at 5:00am for some reason and the breakfast was not very impressive the $100 deposit for incidentals can quite inconvenient for some people.

The room that was for my in-laws had a very moldy smell, but the staff quickly resolved it and gave them a much better room with the handicapped accessibility they needed. Beds are comfortable the rooms are big, and clean. Bonus there's a gas station right next door. Great location. Our go to place to stay when in McAllen.
