Negatives: Front desk very friendlypu

Negatives: They tried to charge us more when we checked in and refused us a room. We spent over an hour trying to get Booking.com to resolve the issue and nothing was done. Defeated, we went somewhere else. When we finally got follow up from Booking.com, they believed the hotel over us. The hotel admitted to trying to charge us more, which shouldn't be acceptable at all, but lied about offering to remove the fee. We're out our money, plus the cost of the other hotel.

Negatives: The inn charged me an additional fee.

Negatives: The room was not very clean

Negatives: I booked a room for $78 and pay at location. When I arrived at 3pm my room had been canceled. He said he tried to take the money off my card at 8am October 12th. but it declined. I asked why and I chose pay at property on October 12th. He said cause the rates went up to $155. I asked him why he said because off a college football game was in the city.that day. He said I can get the room for $155 plus tax. I refused and went somewhere else. I was already locked in at a certain rate and I shouldn't have been canceled to then be charged $155 at the property that amount. He said he had plenty of rooms available but when I went back on line he had changed the price and had no rooms available. I feel like it was gouging because of an event goin on that day.
