Positives:
The breakfast was great, and the provision of beverages at a central location for guests was also excellent. It has a variety of options for coffee lovers and tea drinkers. There was enough for everyone.
Negatives:
We didn't like the room location, as we were placed on the ground floor next to an exit door. The room had cobwebs on the ceiling and a poor drainage system in the shower room without a glass door. The constant opening and closing of the exit door made sleeping impossible.

I arrived between 12:30 am and 1:30 am. The young lady at the front desk told me to book online and at 3:00 am I will be allowed to check in for that stay and to literally be allowed to stay until check out for the following day. Basically, it would have given me a full stay on the property as well as a bed to sleep in the early am of my arrival. I told her thank you. Sat in your lobby and made the phone call. I told the rep the same thing. He confirmed her information was correct. He called her to confirm while I was on hold. I told her I would wait in my car until then. She obviously told him something different!! I checked in. I noticed around breakfast time that I was lied to about the check in and check out. I literally called the call center from the lobby, at her suggestion! She could have taken my money and did the exact transaction if that was the case. That was disrespectful! wrong! and demeaning to me! After breakfast I learned I had to check out with nowhere else to go and no money to pay for another nights stay that they tried to upsell me on. Of course, she was gone!!! This was extremely traumatic to me.

The staff was nice and friendly. Room was roomy bed comfortable. Great location from venue we went to.
Negatives:
The smell of the room was terrible when we arrived and every time we came in. Whenever the air cut off I always woke up because it got hot. There was also a nail sticking up on the floor where the hardwood connected to the carpet. Other than that I enjoyed the stay.

I DID NOT GIVE THIS HOTEL A 5 STAR RATING.
Negatives:
The most important thing to me was the Missing American Flag, even over 4th of July.
They were 3 FLAG poles out front. One side was the LA QUINTA FLAG, the other was the TEXAS FLAG and the MIDDLE FLAG POLE for the AMERICAN FLAG was Empty for our entire stay.
Very sad of that situation for our entire stay.
