The only thing that was good was it was the cheapest hotel in the area of about 5 hotels in the same half mile radius. And even that was not even worth mentioning. Still too high

Positives:
Room very small, nowhere to hang anything up, no dresser, etc.... No microwave, no refrigerator, coffee only in the lobby, and only in the morning. Was working all nnigth, sleeping during the day. Hotel is very lound, no insulation between rooms. Hotel allows pets, and there was dog crap in the hallways.
Negatives:
Location, but in hindsight, not worth the trade-off.

Nicer, modern Motel 6 property. Custodial staff were friendly.
Negatives:
Manager and front desk staff were very rude. Anytime we asked for an extra towel or pillow, we were denied. Manager made me wait 10 mins at the front desk during check-in so he could watch security footage.
In general, there is a customer service culture issue here. I think the staff is used to dealing with classless individuals, but that's no reason to treat everyone like crap.
Residents who live on the 3rd floor of the hotel were burning incense, and they were often loud.
