Great weekend get away with...
Positives:
The view from the secluded balcony was relaxing, the bed was comfortable, the in-room coffee was very tasty, the traffic noise from the nearby interstate was not an issue. The staff was customer and service focused!
Negatives:
We plan to return once the restaurant is open. There was a bit of an issue with the water temperature as the maintenance and facilities team were working to provide modern comforts while retaining the historic infrastructure of the hotel. Hotel management were excellent in helping resolve the temporary issue!

The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The bed is very comfy. The landscaping is spectacular. You feel tucked away in a very nice and private Hotel but room to walk around and relax. The pool area is beautiful.

They said they were monitoring the pool so you had to wear a wrist band. Seems kind of silly to me.

The location was good. They had things going on that weekend around town.
Negatives:
The pool bar extremely outdated, doesn’t look like it gets cleaned limited alcohol they serve which was maybe like four bottles of choices. The rest of them they had they were pretty much empty with nothing in them so you couldn’t have that if you wanted it the price for the alcohol is extremely high at the pool bar almost $20 for a little plastic clear solo cup drink.

The temperature of the showers are luke warm, wanted a hot shower for back pain and it was luke warm and made me cold. Bring your own coffee, and maker it’s like a plug in small percolator.
