Positives: location was great staff were superb

Negatives: Our first room had the smell of dog which was unpleasant and also aggravated my asthma. Perhaps some rooms should be designated pet free The staff were very good and moved us to another room. Albeit exactly the same size. A small upgrade would have been exceptional customer service. Parking was expensive although about the same as everywhere.

Positives: The room was nice and spacious. Personnel was very nice and eventually we had everything (basic) that we needed for a comfortable stay. Acceptable breakfast.

Negatives: The room’s bathroom was rather small and old school. Several sections of the building were undergoing heavy maintenance (including lobby, gym floor), which definitely didn’t make them look esthetically pleasant. The gym especially felt quite eerie, with holes in the ceiling, paint breaking off and an annoying sound of machines. Breakfast was decent, however we would appreciate if the hotel could pay more attention to the environment, by reducing the excessive amount of plastic items that are handed out for breakfast - cups, cutlery and plates were all disposable. With these adjustments, it could be a nice place to stay.
