Location: 10 stars. Brief pleasant walk from hotel to Hemisphere plaza and La Villita.
Loved the water pressure and the couch in the suite. Very comfortable sleep.

Mildew around grab bar attachment in shower in 224.
This was not a terrible thing, but we were put in a handicap modified room. It was nice but neither of us is handicapped. Upon arrival it smelled so bad in the room. (Like burned food). The woman who checked me in, not welcoming nor friendly. No thank you expressed. However, every staff member after her was friendly. There is a daily fee to have your room cleaned, per the posted sign at check in.

The hotel is just a short walking distance to The Riverwalk. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of the Riverwalk as the city was celebrating the Day of the Dead that weekend.
Negatives:
The noise from the hallway and loud voices of the people in the next room can be heard especially at night.

Great location!!!! Walking distance to the riverwalk. Lots of things to do near by. Room was comfortable and spacious. The pool was nice too. Front desk ladies were really nice and friendly.
Negatives:
Not a lot of selection for breakfast. The first morning they had pre packaged waffles and neither my kids and I liked them. They were gross, and the prepackaged egg sandwiches weren't too good either. The second day they actually had batter to make your own waffles. A lot better...but not much of a selection. The location made up for the bad breakfast.

The parking spaces near the hotel are occupied, the second row of cars in the vacant lot in dust and dirt. They charge 25$ for parking, where you still have to find a place for the car, and they write that they are not responsible for the car. What are they charging for then???? The location of the sink in the room, not in the toilet, do you think it is convenient????? Breakfast is a horror, very meager, not tasty, poor, there are a lot of people and everyone is waiting. The kitchen and kitchen staff are lazy. The price of the hotel and the services are absolutely not in line. I do not recommend staying in this hotel.
