Room was surprisingly large, and came equipped with everything we needed! Bath items were great too. Location was right next to the alamo and very convenient. And as a bonus, heater / AC was powerful. Was able to both heat up and cool down our room to the extremes we wanted

Absolutely no one was around the main desk when I arrived. I had to track down an employee from the restaurant. The pool wasn't clean. The area around the pool was very poorly kept. My room had hairs in three places. My pillows smelled faintly like cigarettes. There was no information in the room about hotel amenities, but there was a flyer warning against a local pizza restaurant. The halls smelled dank. All the room doors close loudly. The entrances to the hotel are not properly monitored. Vagrants and addicts roam the area. Parking is a pain. I did not feel safe leaving my car. Neither the parking lot nor the nearby garage have any security or surveillance.
