The location directly on the River Walk is exceptional. The staff was super friendly. The valet attendant was also very informative.
Negatives:
Parking went up to $56 a day which is not what it was when we booked. You have no choice but to pay it as there is literally nowhere you can park. There were crumbs and paper on the floor in the hallway the entire 3 days we stayed, I guess they don't vacuum the hallway when they clean the rooms.

Our room had mole and a weird smell, made it uncomfortable to sleep. The shower door didn’t have a seal so the water leaked into the bathroom floor and created a big puddle of water. We had to put 3 towels to absorb some of the water. It was really bad . We only stayed one night . Also the you man who assisted us up to our room dropped a bag with cupcakes accidentally and never asked house keeping to come and clean it. We had lots of crumbs and frosting in front of our room the whole time.
The rooms were very nice without the moisture smell, very uncomfortable. We love the Westin Hotels this was the most uncomfortable stay we’ve ever had.
The Hotel is beautiful and staff was really nice.

The room smelt like mold was hot and sticky. The a/c went out the second night. I think it was out both nights. The balcony only was big enough for one person to walk out on with 1 chair. It did not look like the photos that were shown for the room with a balcony.
