Positives:
The location was close to the property I was working at. There were several good choices for local restaurants. The hotel breakfast buffet was good but needs to offer different choices daily.
Negatives:
The 4th floor hallway carpet smelled like it was mildewed and it was hard for me to roll my suitcase on. The ceiling was leaking from the rain and a big garage can was sitting in the middle of the hallway to catch the residue. It was difficult to maneuver around. When I left my room the next morning, the garage can was gone and the soiled ceiling tiles were replaced with new ones, which is only a temporary fix. This procedure is possibly what accounts for the mildew smell. I hope roofing repairs are in the upcoming plans and possibly switching to wood or tile flooring.

Some areas of the hotel could use more cleaning. There was rotten fruit in the fruit bowl in the front lobby.

My jewelry was stolen by the cleaning people. A report was made but I never heard from a manager regarding the situation. I ended up leaving and going home early. I will never stay at another Holiday Inn again.
