On 7/20/24 I started attempting to change the check out date to 7/25/24. Emailed , phoned and texted both LaQuinta and booking.com. I was informed by LaQ staff to contact booking.com.
I was informed be booking.com to contact LaQ.
I was unsuccessful in multiple attempts to discus, plead, clarify my request in a timely manner to either LaQ or booking.com. So the morning of 7/25 we decided to take our time checking out since it seemed we’d have to pay the extra day anyway. At 12 an irritated, hostile LaQ employee knocked at the door and demanded to know when we were leaving as he had to get the rooms cleaned. He inactivated our room keys after I explained I thought since I was paying for 7/26 checkout anyway, we’d delay 7/25 departure. We were gone by 12:45. I informed him and am informing booking.com- I WILL NEVER USE booking.com OR LAQUINTA EVER again. I was not able to get a respectful response to my requests and LA QUINTA got paid double for a room since I had to pay for 7/26 checkout and I’m sure he rented to room on 7/26.

The exercise room didn't exist. The pool has a green film on the pool concrete bottom and the water is cloudy. The lounge chairs had broken slats and couldn't be used. There were silverfish in the room towels. The interior paint jobs were poorly done. There were communication problems with the front desk staff.

I only stayed one night for hurricane excavation checked out by 8am next morning and was not refunded..probably won't use booking again And room was not wheelchair accessible only bathroom was.
