I’ve had good stays here before but they are renovating and had no downstairs rooms.
They have happy, cheerful, friendly staff as well as stern, aggressive & rude staff which keeps things balanced I guess.
Negatives:
No downstairs room available. I am severely disabled with muscular dystrophy, tbi, stage four heart failure, COPD, 5 heart attacks & 10 strokes. Although apologetic about no downstairs rooms there was no assistance offered to get my things to my room or back to my van. Though staff was present at arrival and departure they elected to just watch me struggle.
After eventually reaching the top of the stairs to make my way to my room the walkway was partially blocked with building materials making it difficult and hazardous for me to pass.
The laundry facilities are not working. There was no ice bucket or ashtray in a smoking room. Come to find out the ice machine also was not working. There was just two small hand towels. No wash cloths, bath towels or bath mats. The bathroom light takes about 10 minutes to come on oddly enough.
No information card in room for instructions on using TV or breakfast information or anything else.
For 4 staff members to stand and watch me struggle to get things down their stairs and to my van was incredibly difficult for me to experience.
Coming to terms with further limitations to my abilities and a shortened lifespan had been made easier by the kindness and eagerness of even strangers to lend a hand and happily do so.
The cruelty of those who find their joy in watching people struggle and for them to be employed at a hospitality business that I returned to again (I’ve used this hotel on various occasions since it was a La Quinta Inn) was too shocking for words.

The Demise In Customer Service...

The first room was nice. King bed was comfy

The first thing I noticed was the smell of bug spray strong.
The lock “broke” the first night of a 6 day stay. The second day the lock did not work and couldn’t be fixed despite them only being 25% full a replacement couldn’t be located. I had to use the window to get in all day meaning leave window unlocked whenever I left.They gave me a new room around 8pm.
The new room was recently remodeled. The remodeled room had roaches bad. I killed 25 roaches the first night. I was given 2 full size beds not king like I reserved. I asked for a king room daily but never received.
Manager pretends to be helpful but never got me the king room

The closeness to the gas station made it easier to leave on my departure date and hop on the freeway that was also right there
Negatives:
The room was filthy. The bed had stains all over them. No toilet paper. No towels. No lightbulbs in some of the lamps. People constantly talking loud outside the door. People slamming the doors at all hours of the night. No hot water. I got a non smoking room and the room smelled like an ashtray and there were cigarette burns on the tub and some black stuff all over the base of the tub. And what looked like mildew on the shower curtain.

Nathan as soon as we walked in the lady was like u can't leave after 9 pm like we were checking into a prison an thin as soon as we got to the room we saw there was bed bugs and the chairs were nasty that there was no towels it wasn't clean it was disgusting and then we go back downstairs so we don't want the room because it's that gross she says no refunds and then she was like there's nothing I can help you with now crazy

Location ONLY But outside was so trashy & scary. Good place to have child abducted & trafficked off & never seen again type vibe

almost seeing my 2 year old electrocuted while sitting on the bed as sparks flew up from corner next to wall & being sent to a 2nd room finding sheets horifyingly dirty with body fluids & being refused when I asked for refund & to cancel reservation seeing I had only been there maybe 5/10 min & with pictures of the issues & they knew about the electrical dangers but still rented me that room & sparks flew next to my child as I turned on the light. The clerk wouldn't even look up at me as I tried to discuss the safety & health issues of the rooms she tried putting me in & I asked to be refunded & cancel out that reservation. She got snippy about it & refused pointing at a "No Refunds" note on the counter in front of her. Worst hotel in over 30 years.
