Negatives: A/C didn't work, windows don't open, so canceled reservation

Negatives: The room was absolutely deplorable and filthy. The bedside lamps, one of the beds and most of the floor was covered in about an 1 1/2inches of dog hair. The room reeked of cigarettes smoke (supposedly a smoke free room), animal urine, mildew and dirt. The linens definitely weren't changed or cleaned, one bed was completely covered in animal hair all the way to the bare mattress & there was a dirty paw print left on the mattress. All linens were stained, had ripes & cigarette burns on them & were dirty. The walls in the room had someone's dried spit, splattered stuff, dirt & grime all over them. The floors weren't swept let alone mopped. The bathroom door had either dried blood or feces splattered on it. The bathroom walls where filthy & had dried toilet paper wadded up & stuck to it. The shower was dirty with stuff all in the bottom. I ended up getting to the room later at night & was tired since I had been up since 5am, had to drive 4 hrs for my kids Dr's appointment, we checked in & ended up having her give us the wrong room as she couldn't remember which one had a TV or not so ended up getting moved. We didn't look at the second one because we had reservations & came back a few hours later. When we came back and noticed how filthy it was we just ended up buying cleaning supplies & cleaning the room ourselves. Bought plastic sheets and new pillows, stripped the beds and slept on those instead. The AC also didn't work which they did warn us about but with us knowing we wouldn't be back until it was late we weren't concerned about that because we knew it'd be cooler and we'd just be ready to go to bed to drive home in the A.M. plus it was Friday night & we didn't want to have to fight to find a new hotel that late in the evening & last minute. I took pictures of everything before we cleaned & of the rags after we cleaned to show to the manager in the morning.

Negatives: Ac was not working. Property has many failures from grounds keeping to indoor water damage.

Negatives: The AC for the property was not working and the staff let us know before checking in. I’m still trying to have the reservation cancelled without charge.

Negatives: No AC or even a tv

Negatives: Ice machine was broken

Negatives: bathroom flooded with used toilet bowl water, a/c did not work, tv did not work, one pillow, one body towel one hand towel, broken lock on connecting door, horrible customer service, lobby always had 4+ people in it

Negatives: Dirty beds blood on bed unmade with no pillows. Stuff on floors. Water damage to bathroom. Unable to stay1

Negatives: The TV did not work. The sheets were visibly dirty. The garbage can was not emptied. There were dead bugs in the shower, as well as bugs crawling in the room. Power outlets with no cover. The front desk said she would make a note to get me a refund for the room, that refund never happened.

Negatives: Everything! It was 89° outside at 10 pm; no AC. No towels, lumpy bed, check in was cash only, and clerk started absolutely no refund. She insisted that the AC worked. The building had areas that were boarded up. It looked like it was being demolished. And shady characters in the rooms watched us when we parked.
