We really didn't like anything.

The air conditioner wouldn't stay running. When they finally 'fixed' it, the air conditioning ran all day and night and it was still sweltering. Very uncomfortable sleep.
Speaking of being uncomfortable, the mattress was like sleeping on concrete. Not comfortable.
Then the additional couch/bed can not be called a 2nd sleeping area - it is hard as a rock.
The bathroom is steamy and hot and has no fan, so no way to air out the high temps and humidity.
We were billed twice due to an issue with their systems being down when we arrived. We were told that we'd receive a correction immediately, but I'm home 5 days later and the charges are still pending on my card. Whether I'm charged or not, I am not able to utilize that credit if I need to.
The room was very loud - the noise from state street was very loud all night.
There is a 5G tower right outside the window - they might not have control over that, but I'm not happy to be charged an additional cost to stay in a room on the opposite side of the hotel to avoid that.

I loved the layout of the room, especially the closet with vanity area were excellent for 2 people to get ready at the same time and the location worked great for me. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and the coffee was even good (which sometimes can be an issue with hotels). I will stay with TownPlace Suites again!
Negatives:
The only frustration I had while at the facility was the air conditioning in the room. It would default to a temperature, when there wasn't movement in the room after a period of time, that wasn't my preferred temperature so we woke up hot in the night and had to adjust the air conditioner. I'm sure it's an energy efficent setting but I don't like the room to warm when I'm sleeping, it's disruptive to my sleep. A better option would be to have a key control at the door so when key is removed when leaving the room it would adjust but at night when you are sleeping it would stay cool and comfortable.
