Positives:
Overall, our stay at the Hampton Inn Salt Lake City Central was decent. We stayed with our family and found the room to be clean and comfortable, which is always a priority. However, there was some noise from the nearby ice vending machine that was a bit disruptive at times.
The breakfast provided was okay, but we were somewhat disappointed with the limited options available. It would have been nice to have more variety to choose from, especially when traveling with a family.
In summary, while the hotel met our basic needs with its cleanliness and comfort, the noise issue and the average breakfast experience left us with a mixed impression.

Rooms not very sound proofed. Could hear noise from upstairs and constant buzzing of the ice machine outside.

That staff was very accommodating and the room was clean.
Negatives:
There was very little parking near the hotel and you had to park in a lot adjacent to the building that seemed pretty sketchy. The beds were also not very comfortable and my family walked away pretty sore the next morning.
