Positives:
Good location, about 20 mins walk/3mins drive from Salt Palace. Check-in was easy and staff were polite. Room was comfortable amd well kept. Breakfast was decent and filling. Walking distance to dozens of good restaurant options. Shower had good water pressure and bathroom interior was nicely set up, if oddly oriented in the room.
Negatives:
Quite a bit louder than I expected it to be - it seemed like there were people in the halls throughout the whole night, noise from the cars on the street below and trains passing nearby (we kept checking to make sure the window was completely closed because it seemed so clear/unmuffled at times), cleaning crew prepping their carts/talking in the hall at ~0600 each morning, etc. Beds were comfortable, but stayed 3 nights and wasn't able to sleep through any of them without being woken up repeatedly.
Bathroom setup was odd...standard room had a barn-type sliding door faceing the beds vs being in the front hall. Little awkward and not as much feeling of privacy. Also if I plugged anything into the bathroom outlet (hair dryer, hair iron, charger, etc.), all of the lights would start flickering in the room.

The staff were great, Tali and her colleague overnight went above and beyond to assist us. The rooms are quite large, very clean. the pool area is clean.
Negatives:
It all feels quite dated. Breakfast is quite poor with few options for anyone wanting something healthy. the pool is nice but there are no changing rooms or shower. The curtains dont keep the light from outside out in all the rooms. its quite a noisy location by main roads. As with many hotels in the States, there is no kettle in the room or to borrow- there is a coffee maker.
