The property seemed very worn, minimally clean, outdated, worn and stained furniture, very small towels; it seemed like we were in a one star motel rather than in a hotel in downtown SLC. We had family with us from out of town and we were embarrassed at the standard of what we had believed to be a very nice hotel. Also the parking lot under the hotel was confusing and not easy to use. We usually stay at a neighboring hotel and will return there the next time we visit SLC.

The hotel is well placed to explore most of the attractions in the city. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.
Negatives:
There were issues with the aircon which wouldn't switch off. In the end I had to get someone to come and disable it. Ironically the aircon in the gym wasn't working and it made it very uncomfortable to do any exercise. When I pointed this out to the staff on front desk, I was told "that's why i don't go in the gym!" I think you would be stretching things to call this a four star hotel.

One night road trip.
Negatives:
Keys didn’t work to pool and the line was so long at the desk that I gave up. . I really wanted to use the pool. Construction on the street was awful. Bed was so hard I couldn’t sleep.
