I paid for the hotel on June 24 through Booking.com. When I arrived, they ask for my credit card which is standard when you check into a hotel. But they charged me for the room. I talked to them about this Friday evening and again Sunday morning when I was leaving. They said the charge would be reversed. But it still pending on my credit card. It is frustrating that I have to monitor this and make sure that it does not get charged to my credit card. It should never have been charged.

Worst customer service experience I have had in a good long time. Booked the hotel room 9 months in advance of the stay. Contracted the hotel the morning of our reservation to request and earlier chen in they said should not be a problem 1:30-2:00pm. Called the about 1pm front desk they said our room wasn't ready would be closer to 230... Waited in the parking lot until 230 went inside they informed me that room still wasn't ready would be 3-315. Went back to my vehicle, waited until 3, which was the original check in time for my reservation, when I approached the front desk the lady I had been working with previously called me over and said she would be right with me, then walked into the office and sent a young man to come tell me that my room still isn't ready and that suites are often reserved by Marriott members who have a 4 pm check out so my room would not be available until closer to 430. They offered me a normal king bed room instead of the suite, but had anyone had the courage to be honest hours before it would have been significantly less frustrating. I ended up paying damn near the same price for the regular room instead of the jr suite which I suspect was the motivation all along. Never intended to book another room after how disrespectfully we were treated.
