It was cheap the only saving grace.

Everything was horrid. The shower wasn't clean the beds were disgusting. Our front door did not even shut properly and constantly let wind and rain inside. I would not recommend this if it was the only place available I would sleep in the car instead.

The grassy area was also nice for the my dogs.

I wanted to extend my stay for 3 more days on 4th of July.
So I called the front desk at around 7am and asked the clerk name Bert (Spanish speaking, fella, not sure if that's his name, cause he wouldn't tell me) if I could check in later because I had just gotten done graveyard work and I was exhausted. He said "No you HAVE to come in right now or I'm charging you a late fee". I get to the front desk and I tell him I had a really rough night dealing with death at work, did I really have to come in immediately.
He continued being rude to me and basically made it impossible for me to check in.
I handed him an ID that was recently stamped bc I had just moved and was waiting on a new one. He got sassy and said "Yeah I can't take this". I totally understood and I grabbed my passport.
Then he tells me my reservation was declined. I looked at my reservation and on my end it was fine. So I told him I don't understand, it took my money, and on my end it said it went through. He said with no explanation you need to pay this or you can't stay here. He basically tried to make me pay again.
What he failed to explain to me is that sometimes when you have a third party like booking.com it doesn't go thru on their end and it's an easy conversation fix between the hotel and the third party. But he wanted to make it as difficult as possible for me.
So I call booking.com and they said it went thru and your reservation should be okay and they will call him. She puts me on hold and tries to call him right in front of me. The phone doesn't ring and he says they're not calling I can't help you.
The lady from booking.com says to me, it didn't ring the phone must be disconnected. I'm pretty sure he disconnected the phone at this point.
I left the front desk because I knew I was not going to get anywhere with him. Mind you, during our conversation I said why are you making it so hard for me?
