Negatives: The room and the bathroom weren't cleaned. The furniture is old, cracked, and chipped wooden pieces. There was no selection of streaming apps that my family and I could use - only basic cable TV. The room size was extremely small and congested. The small refrigerator in the room is old and off-balanced; meaning in order for us to open it, we had to hold one end of the refrigerator and pull the door open using freat/a lot of effort. Secondly, in order to close it, we had to hold one end and lift the door up to close it as the door itself is adhered to correctly. The refrigerator was extremely small and all my small items (which weren't a lot), but we had to squeeze them in there, lay it down and use great strength to close and open the refrigerator door. Needless to say, EXTREMELY AWFUL! There were old stains in the bathroom and on the room carpet and on the old cracked furniture pieces. The beds/sheets felt itchy, so I hope no problems arise from that. Some of the front desk staff were not friendly. They gave the appearance of not wanting to be bothered, although they weren't busy during the few times that I approached them for an inquiry. They weren't rude. They just seemed to not want to be bothered. The lighting was very dim. The light fixtures are old and discolored. The room or rooms need a complete upgrade/renovation. There are quite a few hotels nearby on the same street that they are in competition with. My family and I did enjoy the pool with the exception of dead bugs, knats, etc.
