Great hotel, very close to the metro (a couple-min walk) and to my work destination (NSF). The waterfront is a 10-15 min Uber away, and that's where most of the pretty restaurants are. Quick check in, convenient rooms, no complaints!

AC did not cool the room and hardly blew. Ice machine did not work. Hallway of the 3rd floor smelled of weed and trash on the floor even after advising the front desk. Employees working the desk were rude and unwelcoming. I asked for a refund but was declined. We couldn’t find another hotel available or we would have left.

It was advertised no Pet Fee. There was a $50. Pet fee. We had to change rooms because we had a pet. One of the elevators didn’t work, sink was clogged. TV didn’t work. Had to have someone come up to fix it. One of our keys didn’t work. We had to go back down to get another. The whole place was very old looking. No coffee in the coffee maker in the morning in the restaurant . The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night - false alarm after we evacuated. The fire alarm went off a second time while we’re trying to catch up on sleep in the morning. The girl at the front desk as we were checking out asked how was our stay. I told her not great. She said sorry we will try and do better next time without even asking why and sent us on our way.

The location is difficult to walk to places but that?s fine.
