It was New Year's and the system was down. Unable to get our room keys. So it sucked depends on the ability of Staff to go up n down to open our room.

We checked in on December 31st, for one night. And it was not the best day for this hotel - there were a lot of people, it was raining heavily outside, the wi-fi did not work for more than an hour (and the connection in the hotel is not good), the reservation system broke down. The staff tried to fix the situation as much as possible, for which we are grateful.
Every step we took was accompanied by waiting. At 6 a.m., the alarm clock (which I hadn't set, of course) suddenly beeped. A frustrating coincidence after being up half the night. Even the hot water from the tap had to wait. In the morning it turned out that breakfast was a la carte (worst decision ever!). We waited an hour for breakfast! Breakfast wasn't bad, but the coffee machine was again.... broken. As we got ready to leave, I remembered all the angry reviews about the parking lot. We again waited a long time for the staff to deal with the blocking cars. All these delays do not help to feel the festive atmosphere, especially when you are traveling with children.
Considering the hotel is small and located in the heart of a tourist town, it's actually surprising how poorly some of the processes are set up. Maybe we were just unlucky. Maybe it would have been different in the summer...
