Positives: Bad Breakfast Holiday Inn Express nearby was much better.
Negatives: Old Facility. Worn furniture, furnishings, and facilities. Booked two rooms. Room 436 had broken unusable door locks. Could not regain access to the room by keycard and shower was broken. Room 415 toilet was nonfunctional, and furniture and furnishings were old and worn.

Negatives: The room was AWFUL! Paint on the doors/shower. Carpet coming up at the walls, not even attached to the tack strips and carpet cut short. (Looked like a quick fix/upgrade) fridge did NOT work at all, cabinet broken where fridge was, window curtain broken. I went to down to request a different room, there was another guest complaining about the smell of weed on the 3rd floor & another claiming that her watch was missing. I was moved to the 4th floor but once stepping off the elevator quickly declined as that floor also smelt like weed. I kept the original room which again was awful & asked that the curtain be fixed. Karen came & stood on the unit to fix it as best as possible pulling it away from the wall. The unit had one temp no matter what it was set on so we suffered. I was offered a refund on 1 night. I don’t feel as though I should be charged for either night as the room was ridiculously bad. I have stayed at several Hyatt’s & this one is about nice as a Hotel8! To make matters worse I realize on the checkout day (1/21) when going to the grocery store that they double charged my account. I called and spoke with Shell? And she said that’s what that Hyatt does, a pre authorization then a night audit of an actual charge. I have NEVER heard of that & couldn’t find on website?So I had almost $600 dollars come out of my account got nothing but attitude from her and talking as though I was dumb. Telling me I had to wait 5-10 days for one of the charges to go back to my card plus the refund for 1 night! I called the corporate number and the lady I spoke with had to call the location and came back saying the exact same thing. When I questioned why patrons weren’t told they would have double pending transactions I got “I don’t know ma’am, that’s just what the lady told me”. I asked her what would happen if I didn’t have enough to cover both transactions and she said they would’ve asked me to leave.
