Positives:
The hotel provides a suite with a tiny oven / stove, full fridge, sink, and dishwasher so that you can prepare your own meals at least some of the time. They have a laundry and small gym as well. It's located within walking distance of an Aldi's grocery store, 711 convenience store, and some local restaurant spots so that you can get by if you don't have your own transportation.

This is my second stay. Three years ago, I stayed here and had a first-floor room near an entrance / exit. I do not recall noise being a major complaint. This time, I stayed in a second-floor room farther down the hall. This room has one of those interior doors that connects two adjoining rooms (the first-floor room did not, as one side of that room was adjacent to the entrance / exit hallway). Had I known this, I would have requested a room without the adjoining interior door, as I could hear what was being said in the room next door. The bigger issue is that the ceiling must be made of cardboard, as it sounded like the third floor folks were stomping all over their floor day and night. Perhaps request a top floor room without an adjoining door to avoid major noise issues, Also, they now charge for parking.

Room smelled like weed, had to ask to change rooms, no soap at sink to wash hands, shingle falling off blocking window, keys kept being deactivated and took 7-8 times to get them to work, internet connection really poor and kept dropping, front desk wouldn’t allow 1 hour late check out on account of being “full”, charges parking fees for an open lot - really dismal experience.

Friendly staff. Plenty of parking at $5 a day. 1.4 mile walk from East Falls Church Metro. Falls Church is a beautiful area.
Went to eat at Hot and Juicy Crawfish, a short walk away. Very tasty and excellent value.

No kettle in the room, just a coffee percolator. This might be an American thing though.
