Positives:
We came to Hampton to renovate a house nearby. We were supposed to stay 10 days but ended up extending our stay multiple times for a total of 18 days. The staff was so accommodating we didn’t think to stay anywhere else. From extra towels to special requests for breakfast, the staff made it happen! The nice lady that makes the breakfast made our stay more comfortable with her bright personality, she was so sweet and nice!
Negatives:
The pool was closed our entire stay (maintenance issue) That was disappointing since we had a 2 and 10 year old. But we went to the beach instead to make up for it. There is no venting fan in the bathroom, so every time we took a shower it steamed up the whole room with no way to ventilate but to open the main door.

Whenever I visit hampton this is my top pick for staying in a hotel. Its clean, has great water pressure and comfortable beds.
Negatives:
A. We booked a smoking room.....there are in fact NO smoking rooms.
B. We chose this out of several other places because it had a "spa room" with pool and hot tub (both were closed down)
C. On the last day of our stay we got to breakfast with 40 minutes to spare, the grits and bagels were empty and all the employees were making their plates as the guests waited assuming they were bringing more (they did not(
D. The tvs were so old and janky we had to get help with the tv and then every time we used it it was a 10 min ordeal to get it working.
E. There was a roach on my ceiling above the bathroom sink that remained there out of reach for the entire 3 day stay.

Everything…. The walls were dirty, there were stains on the couch, dirt on the night stands. Some of the employees were rude and others were amazing. But when booking there was no indication I would be paying for parking and the young lady didn’t inform me there was a parking fee. They just charged the account after I left.
