Positives:
Check in was very difficult!! Somehow my reservation was lost (later found out that my first and last name were reversed on the reservation) and staff could not figure out what happened. Luckily I had my confirmation information because they said there was only one room left for "contingencies". They re-booked me through Hampton Inn directly in order to secure my room. The next morning my account had been charged twice. There was a very nice staff member who quickly figured out the original problem and quickly refunded the second charge. The room was fine, pretty cramped, not dirty. We have stayed at many Hampton Inns and this was by far the worst. As a matter of fact, we stayed at another Hampton the very next night in Winchester and that one was totally up to standards. We will never return to this particular one again.
Negatives:
Breakfast was absolutely abysmal. I don't expect 5 star food, but there was very little provided and what was there was not edible. Biggest disappointment was the coffee, it was terrible!! Usually there are 2 or 3 options (dark, medium roast, etc) but there was only one and it tasted like dish water. Disappointing since they usually have pretty decent coffee.
