I upgraded to a suite on Booking.com because my 22 year old son was staying with me. When I arrived at the property, it was partially under construction and there were no suites available. I was given a room with double beds. Neither Booking nor the Sheraton was willing to refund the extra price that I paid to upgrade to a suite.
So Booking.com promised something that the Sheraton couldn’t deliver on — and I got stuck with the bill. Poor service and customer value by both the Sheraton (a Marriott Bonvoy property) and Booking.com
