When we arrived we discovered that the hotel was closed. Apparently a fire happened a month back. We noticed we received a weird email from Booking saying the hotel let us cancel our booking free of charge if we wanted. But it was not clear at all we could not stay anymore. I believe the issue comes more from booking than from the hotel itself.

The hotel is well located, near the entrance to Shenandoah NP. Also, theres a Walmart and several places to eat nearby

The man at the reception mentioned something about the housekeeping lady not coming the nest day when we checked, but he didnt mention that there would be no housekeeping whatsoever. When we arrived after a long hiking in Shenandoah we found that our room had not been cleaned
