We booked based on having a pool in a location near Eustice. Pool was closed. Not up to usual Best Western breakfast qua

We were always greeted with a smile and a good morning, afternoon or evening. Upon arriving or leaving the person at the desk would always say " have a good day / night ". They were very helpful for any questions we had. We booked 2 separate rooms, a queen suite and a king suite. The queen suite had a HUGE "living room" which had a desk, tv, mini fridge, sleeper sofa, coffee table, seperate bedroom with 2 queen beds, tv, and of course a separate bathroom. The King room was also big, a sleeper sofa and king bed, in the same room, with a tv, mini fridge, and separate bathroom. The whole property was clean, from the parking lot to the rooms.
Negatives:
Only problem. which really wasn't a problem, was that the "pancake machine" was empty when we arrived for breakfast on our first day and ran out on the second day and wasn't refilled. This wasn't a problem for us, as there was plenty of other food, eggs, sausage, some sort of potato, cereal, fresh fruit, etc.

Positives:
The location and price were great. Room was a good size and bed was comfy. Front desk staff was very helpful with aiding me in figuring out the ac and friendly acknowledgment for hi/goodbye.
Negatives:
I would not book again though because I saw roaches crawling on the wall of the room and one on my water bottle on the night stand. I left my bags in my car when I went left because I was worried about bringing bugs into my home. The hotel was full and there was a lot of noisy foot traffic on the first floor where I stayed so Id bring a white noise app or earplugs for light sleepers.

Positives:
I liked when you walked in you saw the upgrades. The level of care in painting and redecorating the breakfast area. It had 24 hour water and coffee station. The hallways and room had bright colored paint in blue, yellow and burnt orange. The beds were incredibly soft and the pillows felt like heaven.
Negatives:
I did not like the sofa and accent chair were both very stained and filthy. Each needed either a serious re upholstery or deep cleaning. The desk and chair in the room- the chair arm wrest were unraveling. The bathroom had a hole in wall. Perhaps where the shelving had fallen and they just moved into a new location and never patched the hole. It was hard to tell where the jot and cold water was in the tub because the face of the dial was not secure. I actually thought there was no hot water and had management come to the room. I didn't realizebit was a dog friendly hotel and was nervous seeing dogs ( on leash). That's my fault
