Days Inn by Wyndham Newport News City Center Oyster Point

Negatives: We booked due to having a pool, which was out of service the whole 3 days due to lack of inspection. The room was filthy, had to ask for new sheets because they were covered in stains.

Negatives: It was not clean. I found food in the fridge from people who stayed there before me. Room was dark and it smelled terrible. I opened the window to get some fresh air. Nightstand was not cleaned. Sticky stains probably from a soda were visible on the nightstand. The room did not look anything like the ones I saw online. The comforter online was . yellow..ours were dark brown. Not enough lightning in the room. Shower head was dripping. Took too long to check in due to nobody being behind ‘the glass’ in the lobby. When the manager finally came after calling and knocking at the window, he said ‘I am the only manager on duty and I had to do something’. He was mad and was not friendly at all. I paid $230 for two nights . We checked in around 8pm. Had a long trip. If it would have been earlier we would have left right away. We stayed one night. Did not eat breakfast (not in that invirement) . We checked out in the morning and I booked one night in the Hyatt! I should get a refund

Negatives: To many homeless inside cafeteria ?need better breakfast

Negatives: When we arrived the front area had a strong smell of cigarettes and people hanging out. I rented a non smoking room but was put in a smoking room and it smelled really bad so I went back up front and they gave me a different room which was better

Negatives: Nothing about the stay I liked. A/C system made noise, the rooms was not close to each other, one room wasn't even cleaned had no sheets or blankets Nothing in the bathroom.

Negatives: The room was not clean, with sticky grime on the furniture and TV; ceiling tiles quite stained in bathroom. A much needed update needed. We assumed robberies have taken place, as the front desk was encased in glass.

Negatives: Nasty dirt in the beds food in the beds kids running up and down the halls and being loud

Negatives: It wasn't that clean or prepared for customers

Negatives: Breakfast not adequately stocked, options poor & hot water only tempid

Negatives: The room was not cleaned properly, was very dirty.

Negatives: We had no soap, toothpaste, shampoo, etc. It looked liked the person started cleaning and left before done. No clean towels. Raggedy furniture. All pillows piled up on one bed with no pillow cases
