Positives:
The hotel was very nice. Very good lighting in my room and bathroom. I appreciated having ice and vending machines on my floor in addition to the snack options at the front down. Good location to downtown Richmond. I really enjoyed the hot tub beside the pool. Enjoyed the tall windows and high ceilings in my room
Negatives:
A breakfast option would have been nice. Valet parking was $40 a day, but the parking lot across from the hotel was only $20 a day.

The pool was lovely, we were the only people in it.
Negatives:
there are not a lot of food options within walking. And $40 to park on site when you are already a paying guest was excessive.
Positives:
Fitness centre was great to be able to get a quick workout in during my stay. Room was so comfortable and clean! Staff were exceptional, so friendly. When I’m in next in Richmond, I will be staying here again! Really felt like home away from home.
Negatives:
The price of breakfast and dinner. I think breakfast should’ve been a little bit cheaper for a full buffet.

Positives:
The bed was comfortable and the room was fairly clean. Pool good, gym good. Good standard breakfast. The room was just comfortable enough for 3 people. Only 1 chair in the room.
Negatives:
Dead bugs stuck on the ceiling of the bathroom. Bathroom exhaust fan wasn't working. Walk to the room from the elevator was ridiculously long. Rectangle shaped floor but the rectangle didn't connect to the elevator hallway. Never stayed in a hotel that didn't offer military members some sort of benefit, like a discount on parking or breakfast. Like 5 bucks off? Something? Nope. The hotel parking is crazy expensive. Have to pay for wi-fi unless you're a Hilton member. The area was ok but it gets shady at certain hours. I like to have bakeries and coffee shops for my morning routine but there weren't many around unless you like starbucks at the Marriot across the street but it was packed. Hotel breakfast is expensive as you'd expect but good I think. I didn't eat but another family member did. I won't stay here again. For the amount of money I paid, which was A LOT for 2 nights, it's absolutely not worth it to me.

The hotel feels worse for wear. Our first room had an adjoining door that did not lock. It did not feel safe to have a door open to a room that someone you do not know is staying in. The second room they put us in felt a little rundown. The curtain had a size able tear in it and the leather headboard was flaking. It was not a cheap /budget room but it felt like we were overpaying.
