The hotel was nice and clean at first glance.The location to VCU is perfect.

I didn't like the smell of the room; it smelled like mildew. After getting a shower and reaching for a clean towel, I opened the towel up to find it was a dirty towel folded as a clean one.

I did like it for the location being next to the mall but I feel this place has paranormal activity going on at the property

I was experiencing paranormal activity in my room . I had asked to switch rooms I wasn’t really trying to let them know what I was experiencing because I didn’t want them thinking I was crazy . But they moved me 2 doors down from my previous room . And I experienced the same feeling . A strong presence around me . I did a little research and it’s shown that this area does have a ghost history. So it helped me better understand. But it also made it hard for me to keep staying here . So now I halft to relocate all the way out this area and I’m not sure if I’ll be back due to the disturbance feeling it was giving me . I stayed up all night because the paranormal activity wouldn’t let me sleep . It was very strong . I’ve never experienced something this intense.

Staff was very nice. Location was great for our purposes. Lots and lots of places to eat and shop. Even the carnival came by. Food at breakfast was good.
Negatives:
The beds were comfortable but often slid off metal foundations. Any food left out immediately meant small ants. I did not like system set up for cleaning for long stays. Often ran out of towels and toilet paper.
