Positives:
Not really anything.
Negatives:
The location just felt sketchy over all. It’s super close to the highway, which means you might get unlucky and hear trucks passing all night (woke me up several times during my three hours of sleep). Someone’s car alarm went off during the night too, which isn’t the hotel’s fault but that’s what you risk when staying at an outdoor access hotel. The unused toilet paper roll had gross stuff on it, the faucet handles were dirty, they missed that someone had shoved tissue into the front door peep hole (which honestly I did nothing about because it felt safer that way), the stains on the sheets were numerous and some of them were a weird rust color (I don’t want to know), same with some of the washcloths. They were out of water in the vending machine and I didn’t trust the faucet water so I had to walk alone to the neighboring gas station. I’m usually fine in hotels, even had germaphobic as I am, but this was unacceptable. Took me until almost 5am to fall asleep due to how uncomfortable I was sleeping on sheets I would’ve doubled washed myself. Would’ve been more comfortable sleeping in my car. And yes, I did barricade my door because the bolt looked flimsy.
