Positives:
Nothing. I should have done more homework before booking this place. The VT football game and the race made it tough to find lodging even weeks in advance. If I’d known about the room prior, I’d just slept in the car.
Negatives:
Drug users confronting the police at the intersection outside the hotel. Crackhead in the parking lot. My room being under my FRIEND’s name and home address even though I booked it all under my name and address (someone explain that one). The room smelled lime a cross between mildew and small amounts of chlorine (like a swimming pool public bathroom). Bug on the floor when I entered the room. I immediately went back to check out and see about any possible refund but was advised booking.com would have to assist with that but it was likely non-refundable. I decided to just take the loss and start enjoying my weekend.

The room was located upstairs, very dirty, no maintenance at all cause we get in the room on friday 20th saturday 21th we went out when we came back the room was upside down as we left nobody fixed the bed so disappointed

Courteous staff who quickly arrived when I entered the lobby, clean rooms that are pretty freshly renovated. Good location shortly off the I-81 and close to downtown Roanoke. The hotel is 6 minutes from a breakfast place called "Scratch Biscuit Co" -- best breakfast sandwhich ever.

Completely outside the hotel's control: I am a light sleeper and the primary road was intermittently noisy during my stay.

Nothing it was a hotel that had versus people staying on a weekly basis… inratings… hotel was utterly disgusting and unsafe

holes in curtains dried food in draws and ick on walls and tables … did not even resemble the pictures on bookings… very unsafe building along with structural damage with stairs braking away … my wife and I did not stay at hotel and returned home… will not ever trust bookings for their star ratings
