I/ we stay at this facility 4 times a year. Been doing so for the last 4 to 5 years on the trip up to Virginia to visit my mom and extended family. This is our 1st travel day stopping point.
The rooms are always clean, breakfast is consistent over multiple stays, the lobby coffee is actually very good and even superior compared to even higher end hotels, and the staff are usually very friendly! This place is a winner!
Only bad experiences i ever had there... the 1st six months of covid. One particular stay, the facility was very short-handed and a few things were predictably off. I chose to overlook those due to the circumstances. Twice, i had militant-types at the front desk giving me grief about masking. I refuse to wear one, period. I put my foot down, they relented. Both of those micro-tyrant types are long gone from the front desk. Every big organizations will occasionally hire a lemon or 3.... It happens.
