I have stayed at this property several times in the last 4 years. The location is fine, just off the Interstate and a few miles from downtown Staunton. The property is dated but clean quiet and safe. It appears that the rooms are being renovated. My room had been freshly painted, new beds and bedding. A nice size refrigerator and microwave. Good selection of TV channels
Negatives:
Before retiring a few years ago I would spend more than 100 nights on the road. My major issue was the quality of towels they were always too thin and too small. They have upgraded to some extent but still need an improvement. Breakfast left something to be desired. Instant oatmeal, no eggs other than hard boiled. no pancakes or waffles, just a couple of apples. No breakfast meat. Very heavy with carbs and starches.

Fast easy check in after reserving the room with booking.com. Room was clean and comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was basic and fine. Nothing stood out from any other hotel I've stayed at, but nothing was bad either. Thank you for the restful night. I would stay here again.

It was a place to...
Positives:
The WiFi signal was good. The shower had good water pressure and the water was hot. I found no evidence of bed bugs on the mattress or in the room.
Negatives:
The room decor was horribly outdated, faded and looked worn and dirty . I could not get the fan to run continuously to muffle out the outside noise. The top sheet had some faded stains on it. The phone in the room didn’t work. The complimentary breakfast was mostly carbs with hard boiled eggs and apples.
