This was the first time me and my wife had went out without kids in almost 10 years. So it was meant to be a special evening. The location was great for our trip into the city. We saw the Christmas lights and a comedy show. However, when we got back to the room and tried to use the whirlpool tub that was located in the room and there was no hot water to the hotel. This hotel and room were solely booked based on its location and the tub in the room since we wanted to take a warm bath after the evening out in the cold city. When I spoke to the front office, they said they do not know what is wrong and the engineer had left for the day and is not coming back to the next day to see what was wrong. Not only could we not take a warm bath or shower that night, but we could also not take one the next day prior to our departure. The front desk rep that evening when I approached them about the issue said they were going to work with the 3rd party (Booking.com) for a refund and see what they can do for future stay but never heard anything back from them. When checking out the next day the rep at the front desk was not sure what or if anything was done. I understand things happen but I think that something such as hot water which could be almost considered essential in the cold weather did not seem like a priority to be fixed right away no was there any communication on what the issue was to the tenants, if it was or was not even going to be fixed, and no alternative solutions provided such as maybe booking us another hotel down the road with another Hilton. Still to this moment, nobody has reached out to me.

Cleanliness needs to improve. Bathroom was not clean or stocked, soap was stuck to the counter, counter had a white film on it and was sticky. Chair in room was stained and cobwebs on the wall.
