We were given a room that was for deaf or hard of hearing people? Why? I have great hearing. The hotel was not even close to full, there were plenty of other rooms to place us. Since the room accommodates people who cant hear well they are located right by the elevator and all night and day I had to listen to the elevator bells ring and the cables clanking inside the wall of our room. At 330am, 4, 5, bells dinging loudly as the elevator arrived and left the floor. I did not sleep at all, in fact, one of the worst nights of sleep ever in a hotel. And I kept wondering why? When I checked I asked why? The staff had no reason-was perplexed . She said she would talk to the manager but no one has reached out to me and I was given no explanation. Did the front desk not like me? Was this done on purpose? Not a good feeling. I will not stay here again or recommend this hotel to anyone I know.
