The good thing is there is great grocery store 100 yards away. The other good thing is Mukilteo is a prosperous, secure friendly community due to Boeing jobs.
Negatives:
We have booked a room here several times over the course of a year. The bottom floor houses all winter for sure and maybe always, what has to be homeless people and all that entails; tons of cigarette smokers at both entrances & giant Pit Bulls coming and going straining at the leash and weird super sketchy people pulling up in sketchy ghetto cars at all hours. Last time we stayed (early summer) a tortured sounding female child screamed a holy terror for HOURS. Pure torture. Our window fell out of the fame, the smoke detector over the bed illuminates the room in blinding flashes of light. You have to cover it with a shirt to sleep. We don't stay here anymore. Lynwood which is WA.'s Shake Down Street is near by and this hotel hosts some of Lynwoods finest. The regular joe worker types upstairs are always fine and polite.
It reminds me of a hotel in the 70's from San Francisco's tenderloin district hookers, drug dealers with a few facial tattooed men thrown in. Creepiest hotel in a year of national hotel stays - by far the sketchiest clientele of any hotel in 373 consecutive days of hotel stays.

Dirty, I water dropped in every faucet, the bathtub was clogged, the beds were spring beds, breakfast was dry (nutra grain bar, muffin), you have to rent your kitchen stuff, pay $10 an hour for a late check out, charge $1 for outgoing phone calls?!

Location was good. Breakfast was not. It was grab and go breakfast bars. The room was spacious, large bathroom and the mini kitchen was an added luxury!!
