Negatives: the location is a bit sketchy, but no problems

Negatives: No coffee pot in room, dirty or stained sheets, noisy area, no curtain on bathroom window.

Negatives: It was in a rough neighborhood for starters. This property is old and it shows. Pictures do not depict the poor condition. A couple of cars in the parking lot that looked like they were either abandoned or should be in a junk yard. When we first pulled up I attempted to cancel our reservation but was unable due to non refundable. The smell is the first thing that hits you. Then you notice the living room furniture was littered with stains, (I am assuming the couch got throw out due to four chairs being in one large room. There was no table to eat at, unless you ate at the desk. The microwave buttons had torn plastic and the updating that appears to have been done lacks any type of professional craftsmanship. Tile was cut wrong, edging around windows and doorways was sloppy, patchwork on the walls looked like patchwork. The shower head was 5 high. Carpets were old and dingy, might be where the funk smell Was coming from. We were tired and unable to get a refund so we decided to deal with it. Upon using the bathroom, to my surprise on the back side of the door was two large areas where someone had wiped the remains of their nose excretions. Needless to say we did not shower or take our shoes off. We should have just slept in our car or just ate the $100 and gotten another room elsewhere. Traffic noise was loud during day light hours thankfully. Finally, the next morning we wake to another two vehicles that appeared to be on their last couple of running miles. And an interesting man wondering around the parking lot. Appears to have been lost but lingered. Needless to say we waiting for him to leave before we went outside.

Negatives: When we first arrived in our room, we found open packages of condoms (and the condoms themselves, thankfully unused) under one of the mattresses. I was in a room with two Queen beds with my boyfriend -- we just slept on the bed without the condoms and notified staff, which they took care of when they did a full cleaning of the room the next day. The AC/heater is a little noisy and makes the room really dry, but we needed it on because of how cold it was in the night (we were here in February, so temperature was expected).
