The first room I was in smelled horribly, like dirty cat litter. I advised reception staff and they moved me which was great, and said the smell was likely due to air conditioner filter needing replacement.
The second room smelled the same but was much less overpowering & I was able to sleep.
A real pity considering the amount I paid & the perfect location.

Positives:
Well located by great restaurants and the market but you have to be very tolerable of a lot of homeless on the sidewalks. Lobby bar was good and staff was nice. Front desk staff less helpful.
Negatives:
VERY loud! windows and walls were paper thin.
Poor lighting thoughout the room. We needed to use phone flashlight to light the mirror in the bathroom.
Shower water would run fine then just stop mid shower.
Wifi was constantly dropping our devices.

Location is great with many atractions and restaurants in walking range.
Negatives:
Hotel is warn down. AC wasn't working properly, water would shut off during showers, no towels provided after room was made up. The biggest issue is the noise from the street as a result of the windows being so old.

Positives:
The location can’t be beat. Steps from Pike Place Market, this hotel is conveniently located near countless shops and restaurants. The rooms are filled with character and have all the amenities you need. We were here for a two-night stay and would love to come back soon for a longer time.

We loved our room, the views were exceptional! The way the room was decorated felt so chic and well planned, from the fixtures to the small fridge, everything was lovely.
The bar was also really nice, we appreciated the free drink tickets while we waited for our room. Fabulous cocktails, we both loved ours.
The bed was very comfortable, really loved the whole room.
Negatives:
The TV connection was pretty bad; the sound would get unsynced or stop momentarily. Channels we were watching would become unavailable, we had to turn it off and back on again. Several times!

The noise once you are in the room, as doesn’t have a proper soundproof, you can hear everything going on outside/neighbour next door and neighbour above :( which is not ideal!
