Negatives: Check in was less friendly than most.

Negatives: The check-in was a little bit challenging as we paid through booking.com a while back and they could not locate our reservations. We order room service and it took awhile. When we got the food it was cold. The bed was too low for me. Otherwise, all went well.

Negatives: Every staff member we interacted with was rude or dismissive. They were having issues with their credit card reader and none of the cards were getting approved. The staff member (Michael) was rude. I needed to prompt him to try additional cards when he held it up and looked at me and told me "it didn't work". He didn't offer additional options and assumed the issue was w/ me. His facial expression was one of irritation at having to deal with me. After attempting a few cards, I suggested something might be wrong w/ their system. He yelled over his shoulder at a co-worker to ask about it and the coworker confirmed their system was down. He looked at me and said "You knew you weren't broke huh?" he never apologized and just gestured to have a seat and said we'd need to wait to check in until the system was back up. He proceeded to check others in w/o calling me back up to assist me. When I asked if the system was back up, he said yes (with exasperation" and told me to wait in the front of the line and he'd help me next. Once in my room, I attempted to reach the front desk because the wifi wasn't working. I was told I'd get a call back to resolve, but that didn't happen. Later I tried to get a receipt from the front desk to submit my expenses and was told I'd receive it. Then (Jesse?) told they would send to Booking.com but if I didn't get it to call back and they'd email me. When I didn't get it, I called back and another person (no name provided) told me they would send it w/in a 1/2 hour. 2 hours later I called back and was told they can't give it to me directly that I need to go through Booking.com to get it from them. When I explained my past few conversations to the lady on the phone, she told me that's the way it's done, but that if I couldn't get it from Booking.com I should call back and tell her.

Negatives: Pay for parking. Rooms were pricey.

Negatives: No shuttles to downtown or to any of the excursions. We had to rely on uber as the main transportation. The buses & light rail had small populations of the homeless ....that made us feel threatened & uncomfortable with.

Negatives: No cleaning for 3 days

Negatives: Great people at the front desk

Negatives: Check in was terrible. The front desk receptionist told me we had to wait until check in started (it was 2:56, check in was at 3:00). I completely understand sometimes things run a little behind, but we did not get checked in until after 5, along with other guests. Apparently, they sold out after over booking the night before and still allowed guests to check out late, while also being understaffed. When they did get rooms available, their system was to clean floor for floor, not in order of room size check in. I would have left but I was reliant on public transpiration with my DIL and toddler grandson. I would have probably still been waiting, as guests who checked in after us were getting their rooms, had I not finally put on my business face and put grandma aside for a minute. The front desk finally requested a double bed room be cleaned to accommodate us. In my opinion, it was poorly managed and not fair to put that stress on their staff by over biking and STILL allowing previous guests to check out late.

Negatives: Too noisy, car traffic, air traffic, other guests were noisy no rest at this hotel.
